MORE ZITOBABY YAY

This was very cute. It was hilarious to see Tim freak out about adding a new element to their relationship in the way only Tim Lincecum would. Probably my favorite line of the whole thing was "What. That doesn't even." I couldn't stop laughing.

Also:

Tim feels like he’s on the verge of something big. Maybe the rest of his life.

Then I melted into a little puddle. OH TIM. THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!

\o/ Can't wait to see more :D

I imagine those around Zito spend a lot of time blinking at him in confusion.

OH TIM. THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!

WHO KNOWS.

Awww. This was sappy, but . . . not over the top? It's, like, contained sap. Or something. lol. I like seeing Tim freaking out about something, something that happens to have nothing to do with baseball. And I like that Zito just lays it out there, with no animosity or what have you. It's an option and it's there. And of course Tim rejects it.

I'm enjoying kidfic way more than I thought I would. Haha.

Oh god, I don't even like kids but I'm enthralled by the possibilities here-the dynamic of their relationship, tested and potentially changed by the addition of this child into their midst. Looking forward to more :)

Great stuff. You don't see too much kidfic around here. I like the element of maturity it adds to a story.

This is cute. I love Lincecum's reactions in general. Is it wrong that in the line “Just treat him like a younger version of me" I feel like you could replace 'me' with 'yourself' and it would work just as well? Because I totally see Timmy as the kind of guy who would not see any difference in talking to kids and talking to adults, for various values of 'adult', which would lead to Timmy being like, "Ready for your ice cream now, Zachariah?" and Zachariah being all, "Fuck yeah!"

Haha, it's nice to know we're on the same page. I already have various dialogue written around the concept of Zito saying, "We don't say ______" and Tim responding with an eye roll and a knowing look shared between him and the kid.

:)

On multiple levels, this has to be written.
