With the bulk of people on the island all filing into places such as the Compound and Rec Center to escape the torrential rain, Sookie had taken to making the trip back to her hut every evening, not wanting to take up precious space more appropriately left to children or those with weak constitutions. While the hut was sturdy, however, the endless rain had resulted in a few roof leaks here and there, to the point that it wasn't unusual to feel water dripping on her face in the early morning

Mornings in the Compound were nothing Jenny was particularly fond of. They were too noisy, too crowded, everyone wanting to get to breakfast and keeping different hours. Sleeping in wasn't too difficult, but she'd preferred to wake up in the home she and Wendy shared. The weather had deprived her of that, though, the strong, persistent wind and rain making living underground an impossibility. They'd managed to salvage what was important, but for weeks, now, had been living in an empty room, and she had long since grown sick of it.
Getting out of bed was a slow process, and something she had only just begun doing when the world changed around her, more quickly than she even had a chance to grasp. Where there'd once been a pile of clothing was now some foliage, her bed replaced with a tree, and more importantly, she was no longer standing in a room, but outside, drenched to the bone in a matter of seconds. In no position to act on anything other than pure instinct, she shrieked, nearly losing her balance in the mud but managing,

Rory stared with wide eyes as a pretty blond soaking wet (but who wasn't right now) woman wrapped up in a blanket came out from the trees. He was pretty sure this wasn't an attack -- Could attacking things get in the TARDIS? -- but it wasn't reassuring, whatever it was.
"You... are... not an Egyptian goddess, I'm guessing?" he said, pointing a finger at her in an off-hand but certain way, like she might disappear if he didn't keep note of her presence but he was too distracted to really do anything serious about it.
Another voice jerked his head around in that direction, and Rory glanced back at the woman uncertainly. "Is that?"
Ten seconds in and he was hoping to find a rampaging Egyptian goddess. Who to blame: Amy or the Doctor? Eh, didn't really matter just then. "What's that?" he said instead, switching tactics and pointing his other finger in that direction.
"What, like Cleopatra?" Sookie asked, not sure what relevance the man's question had to he situation they were in- the terrain didn't seem anything like the image of Egypt that she had from watching The Mummy, and if anything, it looked more or less like Tabula Rasa. Aware of the body switching that had occurred only a month prior, Sookie froze suddenly in place, wondering if there was a similar explanation for her sudden displacement. "I don't look like an Egyptian goddess, do I?"
Tugging on a lock of her hair, Sookie breathed a relieved sigh, as much as was possible in their surroundings, at the sight of blonde. The feeling was short-lived, however, as Sookie stepped a little closer, still trying to orient herself and hoping for clues that would explain the current state of affairs. Before she reached the man, however, she heard a shriek and yells from further back and quickly stumbled toward the familiar voice.
"Jenny? Jenny, oh cheese and rice, you're here too- so we're still on the island somewhere after all," Sookie called
