Dammm... Anyone could figured this one out. So the CBC curiously ends thier strike 5 days before their first hockey broadcast is supposed to go after seven weeks of striking. Just enough time to get everything in order

Good argument nicholas, but unfortunately... it holds no water. You obviously haven't been keeping up with the Red Green Show, IT'S the number one revenue generator for the CBC... they made a MOVIE out of it (huge in the prairies where it was up against.. and qwashed may I add.. the Revenge of the Sith this past summer). It then quickly and strategically went to DVD, and in a suprising move, Beta, to capture huge amounts of revenue in the maritimes and nunuvut. In fact, I heard that Red Green led the negotiations that brought the two sides together again to hammer out this deal that was made for the good of all Canadian people, not just beer drinking hockey mongrels... And do you know what he used to bring these sides together? Duct Tape. That's right. A very smart young man once told me: "Duct Tape is much like the Force... There's a light side and a dark side, and it pretty much keeps the universe together." I think you'll agree. Good-day Sir.
