My name is Brittany, I am fifteen, and I want to read the entire Encyclopædia Britannica.

As you may have noticed, "brittanica" is a cheesy, intentional misspelling of "Britannica" to fit my name. Incidentally, this journal is Friends Only, so you'll have to comment to be added and see the rest of the entries

Your quest is very admirable and your writing skills even more so...from one bookish and somewhat socially inept person (I attend the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and wear T-shirts emblazoned with the word "geek" on the front, if that gives you any indication of what I'm like...any stereotypes you have are probably not too far off the mark). Also, I'm a fellow Mac user, in case that makes any difference... :)

My main quality (or fault, as you prefer to see it) is curiosity. And you have intrigued me with your unique task, so I would love to witness the development of it. Could you add me?

I may add that I don't post much, and when I do it, it isn't even remotely interesting. And my English isn't as good as I would like it to be, but you know, being born in a non-English-speaking country difficults my hopes of having a perfect English grammar. So who knows, you may teach me useful things through your reading. ^^

Ah! Reading the Bible and the dictionary are both very admirable goals. I've never attempted the dictionary, but I'm about halfway through the Old Testament (I've already read the New). Good luck on your endeavors as well. You've been added.

Wow. I'm actually awed by how alike we are, while at the same time having different aspirations. I probably would have attempted being the first fifteen-year-old to read the Britannica - until I turned sixteen, which is an unfortunate timing error on my part.
