Bring Books on CD - ones you've never read before. Something engaging. Drink lots of coffee but don't be afraid to pull over and rest. If you start getting tired, call me. :D <3 Tell Adi I said hi and I AM SO JEALOUS.

Will do. I've got some doctor who audio dramas that I'm going to stick on the mp3 and that will pass some of the time. Going to gather lots of music and lots of audio books. I will definitely end up calling some people 'cause it'll be lonely with just me and Georgette and two days on the road down there. Never taken a road trip by myself (just our epic venture) so I'm a little...what's the word...apprehensive, being a small female alone and all, which makes me angry 'cause it shouldn't have to be that way.

Anyway yes, I will tell her hi! She's super excited that I'm visiting as well.

Big Finish audio dramas! Or audiobooks! "The Thief of Time" by Terry Pratchett is really good and available on iTunes for not v much.

am a fan of both of those things. I've got the radio dramas of all seven Narnia books so there's that, and I know they're quite good, if you're in the mood for Narnia. I'm going to collect new music from people and put all kinds of shit on my mp3. I've got a smartphone these days which connects me to pandora and thus my showtunes.

Terry Pratchett is awesome, you can't go wrong with him. I will definitely look that one up!

Lots of music, lots of upbeat music. Music that you can kind of "dance" to while driving. Makes you move, keeps you awake.

Lots of caffeine.

Plan little things along the way, say stopping somewhere, 4 hours in and just doing something for a little bit. Find something wacky that's not too far off your main route. It'll give you some variety, and something to look forward to instead of thinking OMG I've got to drive X amount of hours today.
