So Mark Twain specified in his will that his autobiography shall not be released until 100 years after his death. (I would like to think that I am a big enough dick to do something like this in my will). It's something I look forward to reading. *nods* It does seem like quite a good read. Though, if you DO put it in your will, I'm sure THAT will be quite the interesting read as well. XD

as for nonfiction, sorry bro. Got nothing I know of in that category.

Thomas Pynchon - "Gravity's Rainbow". Seriously, the best book I've read in my entire life.

I'd say Bret Easton Ellis' semi-autobiography/horror novel "Lunar Park".
He has a way of writing that captures so many details and nuances, that I've never seen in any other writer.

If it has to be strictly non-fiction, then Naomi Klein's "No Logo"... It may be 10 years old, but it continues to become more and more relevant.

I've heard of ellis before but I am not sure where.

Yeah, I started reading no logo years ago, but I lent it out before I finished, then they lost the book. -_-

You've probably heard of him because Ellis wrote American Psycho in 1991. Another fantastic book.

Actually, I haven't finished No Logo yet, either :P
Still got aboout 150 pages to go, but I'm reading another book currently.

"Muscle" by Sam Fussell. It's the autobiography of a nerd-come-pro bodybuilder and it's pretty entertaining.

Or Plato's "Republic" if you really wanna get stuck in there.

That seems pretty interesting. Helps that I like nerdy beefy guys too though. =p

Yeah, I've had to read that twice for different classes. It makes me think about freedom in the sense of freedom to do versus freedom from ignorance and pain.
