So, yeah, I'm still alive. those of you who haven't heard from me in a while, fear not. My heart still beats, and my thirst for debauchery still grows

did you per-chance steal them from Colonels Logistics room?? that would be super sweet.
Sometimes, I wonder why I go to school, what with all the mental battering of medical courses. Praise gives me drive. You have added gas to the tank. You win.
No, I didn't, but I wish I had. Funny you mention Colonel. I was checking out the alumni section on MySpace and saw some emo kid, so I decided to take a peek and get a giggle. Turns out he graduated last year, but was in the program. He said it's shit these days and that nobody cares. Too bad. I don't know if you remember him or not, but I chat with Stephen Perinno once in a while on AIM. He was a senior your freshman year, I believe, and was our squandron commander or asst. something-or-other (man, I've forgotten the terminology) for, um...DAMN. That thing we did on the weekends. I was Group Commander, right? I don't even remember anymore!
I remember Steve, if only vaguely. And I believe that thing you are referring to is Basic Cadet Training. Man, the good times we had in BCT.
I talked to Colonel a few times before he retired last year, he said the Drill team was dying, and the corps as a whole was going straight down. I offered to volunteer some time assisting with the drill team, and he basically told me to save my efforts. It truly is sad to see our legacy die, but I know my senior year, as Corps XO, that it would never be the same. I went back after I got in the AF, and watched them just get destroyed at Biloxi. O, the shame! But at least we still have good memories, and I have a good tape of one good year at Biloxi.
