I'm sure everyone remembers that about a decade or two after Elvis died, the USPS wanted to put out a stamp honouring him. The big debate at the time was whether one preferred "young Elvis" or "old Elvis" (or "thin Elvis", "fat Elvis"; "Memphis Elvis", "Vegas Elvis", take your pick

You know, about two minutes after hearing the news, I thought, "Wow, a whole lot of comedians just lost a whole lot of material."
