Saw a couple movies already, probably will see Sherlock Holmes in the near future as well as rewatching The Princess and the Frog.

This was a very good movie. I know lots of people have been banging on it for having a lame story or whatnot while simultaneously praising the CGI. Admittedly, the plot was predictable--think Dances With Wolves set in the far future on another planet. But DWW was a good movie and a great story, so...I don't see what the problem was. Something tells me James Cameron was focused more on world-building and creating a whole new culture (which is awesome in its own right) than making the plot 100% original. I loved Jake's character; then again I'm a fan of Sam Worthington, too, and also Sigourney Weaver. <3 And the Na'vi were so AWESOME. I don't know why but I love their designs. My kudos goes to the animators on this one, obviously so much was CGI but everything LOOKED real. The blending was very well done.

Finally got around to seeing this one! OMG I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE, LIKE, FOREVER AGO TO SEE THIS MOVIE. I read the book it was based on but applauded the changes Disney made to the setting and characters, because the change was refreshing--and made me look forward to seeing the finished product even more! Plus I have the biggest soft spot/preference for 2D-animation so...there was no way I would think bad of this movie LOL. The music, the pacing, the environments, everything was gorgeous. Tiana is a wonderful gal and Naveen is without a doubt the best Disney prince EVARRR; he and Tiana make the sweetest couple. I look forward to the next 2D Disney movie if it's anything like this one.

I know a lot of you guys probably already saw this trailer out and about, but it's for Tales of Vesperia: First Strike. This is a much longer trailer than I saw a few months ago so I had to share it.

so, yeah. That's all that's going on over here. Just got one portrait to draw for my parents, a Christmas piccy for a friend, and then I AM DONE HOLY CRAP. I will have two more full weeks after this one...I think I'll apply for the graveyard shift at Walgreen's.
