I wasnt on anything... 3 friends took it upon themselves to show me a good time last night, and I cant remember the last time I had more than a pint with no food with it...

Seriously, it makes sense that you still love the old him. We (or at least a couple of us) thought he was the perfect boyfriend back then. Turns out he had one little flaw, which is that he turns into a giant asshole when left to his own devices. No one could have known that would happen, especially not you. And you are good enough. Actually, no. You're too good for someone who's going to do a completely 180 when you're no longer within the same city limits as him.
