The rainy season should last most of June, but it is not raining. Probably not good for the rice crop, but it is easier for me to bike when there is no rain. I will miss my bike. When do you move, then?

I'll be going back to Kentucky on July 24th. Then I have a little under a month to Baton Rouge, where I've never been before. Orientation is on August 20th.

Did you learn much of the language while you were there? What will you miss the most about Japan? What do you like least about Japan?

I can't wait to move there, myself, one of these days. They just restarted the liason program at work after a year of revising. We're anxious for the official list to go out so David can put his name on it. He's leaving for Utsunomiya on the 11th for another 2 weeks. We're hoping in the next 2 years for all 3 of us to go for several years.
