Band of Brothers: This is Why We Fight

I am watching Band of Brothers, which by the way is really freaking good. Very well done. But in watching it I feel like I need to right. Hitler and the nazi regime killed 6 million Jews and 5 million other foreign peoples for no other reason then to exterminate them. That is a CATASTROPHIC loss of life. That can’t be replaced. But perhaps

its happening right now in several African countries. its not neccessarily government imposed, but mass genocides are happening all of the time. by the way, the worst thing about WWII and what happened there is that the US new what was going on. we even turned an entire boatload of jews away in florida after they had traveled all the way here. they had to go back to germany and all ended up dieing in concentration camps. yeah- i took a nazi science class last semester so i know way more than i need to... but there ya go
