Romney's kicking some ass so far.

I think it'll be a shake down between Romney and McCain. McCain should do well in Florida from what I've seen. Romney doesn't seem to have Southern support, and I Love Huckabees seems to be seen as George Bush Mark III.

If Romney wins, I wouldn't be surprised if McCain is his running mate (not knowing too much about his party politics). McCain is generally seen as the best candidate to sway away non-partisan voters to the Republican side.

On the Democrat side, It's going to be Obama/Edwards or Clinton/Obama as the pairing. Is my guess at least. The former would probably win the election, the latter I am not so sure.

I'd be disappointed if it was anything less than a real choice this time.

Every time it's some real dipshit or two lesser of evils, so I'm looking forward to a true heated race with actual candidates that make me think hard about who I give it up to.

Please do keep on providing these updates - God knows I'm not getting anything this useful from the BBC at the moment.

No worries... glad to be useful.

BTW, This American Life is a great podcast, thanks. Nice counterpoint to From Our Own Correspondent.
