I have a Lumix DMC-TZ7 and am very happy with it. Small, hi-res, zoomy, optically excellent, very occasionally colour the is slightly off but nothing that's not easily fixable in Photoshop or similar. Not bad on big sky scenery, either. Certain I made the right choice, and the EOS-10D is severely neglected as a result.
And of course you're a very long way from S6 which must increase the relaxation levels after the crappy season we've had!
