I sat in church today realizing how much the Byzantine Catholic religion really wants you to feel as separated from God. They put the Iconsatsis, a gate full of icons, to separate the alter from the rest of the congregation. This makes people feel like they are not worthy of being in the presence of God. I also do not like how we sing a lot of songs in Slovak. It is like they want only a select few of people to be able to be part of the ceremony. I just do not feel anything when I go on Sundays."

Don't you find it odd that for quite a few centuries longer than you've been alive the very things you list as liabilities or negatives about Byzantine Catholicism have had the exact opposite effect on countless individuals? (i.e. bringing them closer to God by imbuing them with a sense of the Divine?) Perhaps you should do a bit more reading about the meaning of some of the things you criticize so glibly before you write off an entire church as meaningless.
