LJ usage

Jan 22, 2008 12:08

I am still having trouble with learning how to use this dumb thing - I want to post a spoiler to the book I am reading without making viewable right from the start - and I am not sure how -

there is a tag called lj-cut that you use to do that. In the new Rich Text interface, there is a button that will do it for you. :)

Indeed! If you just want it to say "Read More" with a clickable link, put < lj-cut> in front of it (without the space). If you want it to say something specific, use < lj-cut text="Your Text Here">. If there's more you want to add after the cut, standard closing procedure of < /lj-cut>.

Hope that helps :)
