Oh damn! I remember when my mom had her gallbladder out... it had turned into a rock-like thing was full of EVIL. Get lots of rest, and feel better! I'm glad that the surgery went okay and everything.
Protip: Cats fix everything. Liberally apply cats to the afflicted area and it'll heal faster. (not that you have to encourage them to lay on you in your house, as they are love machines.)
Don't worry, the cats are applying themselves just fine. I might just overdose at this rate. XD
My gallbladder actually wasn't in bad shape, but I'd been to the ER once before because of stones, and the verdict is basically that you can delay surgery with dietary changes, but you can't really get away from it forever... so I figured, fuck it, might as well get it out of the way.
Other than a little pain when I move certain ways or laugh too hard, I actually feel fine. :3
I am, actually. I only really had significant discomfort the first two days after surgery - I'm screwed if I sneeze really hard or puke, because my stomach muscles still haven't healed up, but otherwise I'm basically able to do all my normal activities just fine. :3

And above all... FEEL BETTER.
