It has occurred to me frequently in the past few months that having a lover or best friend is like having a shot of Novocaine or some heroin in your pocket. If something hurts, no matter what it is, all you have to do is open your phone, uncap the needle, and it starts to feel better

Are there any other female servers at work that you could hangout with?

There are a few cool ones. They've mostly been busy with school, but hopefully over break there will be more time. I'm just so not comfortable with girls, and I don't know why. I find it far easier to ask a guy to hang out than a girl. But I think I'll start putting more effort into it.

Do you have a better sense of your schedule this week? I should be done with clients on Thursday by around 2pm or I am free for most of Friday. We could get breakfast on Friday?

I work Friday morning and might be viewing a new apartment after that, so either early Friday (I work at 11am) or around 8pm. I also have Sat morning off, and Monday completely free.

Have you tried The Jones? It's this really tasty place on Main St. and 23rd. The catch: cash only. Are there any places that you like a lot for breakfast?
