Thoughts on Buffy S7, Disc 1

I watched the first disc of season 7 of Buffy, which, on rewatch, had a pretty strong opening (at least, compared to season 6... which admittedly, had a lot to wrestle with). *sigh* I heart Buffy. Season seven wasn't well received when it aired but I find it works much better as a rewatch, especially the later half. The episodes all run together and work so much better when you can watch a few in one night.

Truth.

I mentioned above about the age I watched, and I think that may be part of it: I was young enough when seasons six and seven were airing that the themes relating to the difficulty of adulthood were lost upon me. I wonder if I'm not the only one that's true for?
