I thought they handled Chloe's return very well, especially when compared to the mess in S8 with Lana. Clark's doubts were reasonable and I loved that he truly got to understand how hard it was for the people around him to trust him back when.
Basically, I have only one thing to say to your review- Word! I've realized that I don't miss Chloe at all. She was never my favorite character, but I didn't dislike her really. I was totally pissed about the Doomsday thing, and I'm glad DInah called her on it. And oh my God, Clark and Lois flying- I hope that's how the series ends, in the real world instead of the virtual.
Yeees, I enjoyed it too. :D There was too much Chloe for my taste, but like you said, I enjoyed that her past actions were mentioned. Clark and Lois flying was such a highlight for me, loved the smiles on their faces. And it was fun to see Suicide Squad again. :D Loved the team work.
Superman is the symbol of Hope for the world, but Lois is the symbol of Hope for Superman. ♥
There were lots of things I seriously hated about this episode, but I came away from it feeling happy and not really all that down on Clark. I do get where the criticisms are coming from but I really enjoyed your post. I felt very strongly after watching, that they handled Clark's trust issues with Chloe so much more honestly than at the end of season 9.
