I started reading a new book that I bought the other day at Barnes & Noble. The book is titled Lies My Teacher Told Me. The book is about the history of the United States that the textbooks leave out. The first chapter speaks of Woodrow Wilson and Helen Keller. I won't address Woodrow here, because I'm sure none of us really know anything about him

its really amazing the things they leave out, or the way the way the frame what the don't leave out...like remember manifest destiny, no one every told me it was facilitated by genocide. I'll be the Christopher Columbus chapter will be depressing
