Murdoc and Sands are back from Vegas. They stay in Sands apartment, because it's nicer. Muds sits on the bed with the sheets loosely draped over him, though not enough to keep it from being indecent. His body temperature is high at all times and he doesn't give a damn about nudity ( Read more... )

Sands had bought his own guitar and still strums at it when he wants something to do with his hands besides playing with himself. Or guns. Or Murdoc. Mostly he just plays it around Muds because he highly suspects that even though he can't hit the correct note he looks hot doing it.
He lays it to the side and reaches over to grab the dog tags that he had left at home during his adventure as a girl. Sands misses being able to see but he's more comfortable in his own body. Especially naked. He plucks the ring off one of the tuner knobs and attaches it to his tags before putting it around his neck. He bought Murdoc a simple silver band of his own and Sands got himself a matching one that he's wearing now.

"I don't see a jacuzzi tub, king bed shaped like a heart, or a complimentary fruit basket. I'd say it's over. Also- I'm glad I never invited my friends to the service. Jack was the only one to give me something and it's nothing we want."

Muds likes watching Sands play guitar. Even if the other agent isn't great at it, Murdoc still likes music and enjoys feeling like they both have that in common..even if he doesn't believe that's quite right. Also? Sands does look pretty damn hot doing it.

"I'm endlessly fucking shocked that the dirty pirate hasn't given you the gift of VD yet."
He laughs, but is mostly serious. Jack is gross and outdated. Muds moves a little closer and takes hold of the guitar, pulling it into his own lap.
"Yoink..." What he plays sounds decent enough, but it's just what he remembers of the intro to Metallica's 'Fade to Black'.
"If I had any damn friends, I doubt they'd give us anything. I haven't had many gift giving type friends in my lifetime."

Sands makes a snorting sound as he snorts but it turns into a pout when his instrument/prop is stolen from him. He adores his agent/musician boyfriend. It's like combining Curt Kobain with James Bond. But lacking the drug problems and trail of dead one night stands. Or not.
But he was robbed. So he pokes the bear.

"You're just jealous I have other friends. whose dick I ride sometimes."

The music stops sharply with a raw 'twang' as he plays something that isn't exactly a note. The guitar is set down a safe distance away --on the other side of the nightstand-- as Muds just stares at Sands. He keeps the cigarette in his mouth, clenched between his teeth, as he pounces on Sands and pins him to the bed by the shoulders.

"And? What if maybe I am jealous? What then?" He goes back to smiling, so the situation could be worse for Sands. "Will you stop fuckin all your other friends? Or should I start? Just curious, is all." Muds gives a short, scoffing laugh as he grins down on his lover. Not that he doesn't intend to still sleep with other people. He probably will. He'll just have the decency not to remember their names later or see them again.

"Oh."
Assurances that none of is his fault gets his attention and he's more likely to agree. That entire conversation is officially over in the agent's mind. On to other things.
"What do I do to him when he's bad?"

Sands' methods of discipline are so out there he doesn't know how to do it without ruining Murdoc completely. Right now his plan is to shoot Murdoc someone non vital and tell him he's a very naughty boy. He still thinks this is a fine plan but he'll ask his partners opinion first.

"For one? Tell him. It'll piss him off, but he really doesn't want t'disappoint you, so that's punishment too. Then give him orders for a while without any kind of fun shit in between. Even if you want it. Remind him it's a job. Tell him when he does well... It's a lot like training an animal, really."

Sometimes, the fact he's talking about himself upsets Murdoc, but not as often as it probably should. He's just some punk kid Muds happens to have extra insight on.

"Make him watch the news with you... And ask him questions about it, so he's forced to pay attention. It'd do him some good, besides. When you really need results? ... Ignore him."

The ignore part must have been hard for Murdoc to tell Sands since the agent can very well use it on both versions. But it's for that reason Sands wont do it. Information is rewarded.
"Should I pitch the back of his neck like on the Dog Whisperer? Or will that be too much of a reward? Here- tell me how this feels."
Sands quickly gives Muds a pinch right below his hair line and grins. He sometimes seems like nothing got through and Sands was reruning a funny cartoon in his head as his boyfriend speaks but he heard every word and plans to take Muds' advice. Later. He still might shoot the kid this once.

There is some worry that he'll be outright ignored now when Sands is angry, but he's hopeful that the agent will just be incapable of going through with it. At least when it comes to him.

The pinch to his neck makes him wince and he swats at Sands. No. That's not rewarding, it's annoying. Muds laughs and rubs the odd itch where the pinching was.

"Yes... Train just like the Dog Whisperer." He shakes his head and pulls Sands over to lean against him again. "Whatever works for ya. You got me where I am, so it can't be too fucking bad."
