Watching him move around the kitchen is painful. Obviously the spoiled brat has never been in one in his life. I’m sure that the Petrellis had an entire staff devoted to seeing to his each and every need just like all the other Peters did. They probably brushed his goddamn teeth for him, and my god they were perfect teeth. They were white, bright perfectly straight, and for a moment I thought they were much too sharp.
I blinked and directed my focus back to my Phad Thai, scooping up more of the noodles and shrimp with my chopsticks. Taking a sip of my wine I leaned back to watch him eat his sandwich. “So what’s your story? Where do you come from?”
“You obviously met a version of me before, and you don’t like him. That’s fine because the Peter where I came from was a little prick.” I took another few mouthfuls of my food. “We’ll talk to whoever’s in charge, and we’ll find you another place to stay tomorrow morning. I’m not like the others who seem to find you attractive.” Because they have eyes, and they can see you. But I am not like them. I don’t want you. I never will.
