Oh, this proper warmed my movie-weary heart. :) Bloody lovely, and nice to see Naomi being reasurring and Emily having very realistic fears and doubts. Very well done.

I've got an idea for a one shot, if you're still struggling with the writer's block, I know it can be a bitch. (Being in the midst of fic-writing myself) Though you're probably weighed down with people's ideas, haha. Lemme know if you're sorted. :)

LOL, nothing like a bit of cheesy fluff to warm a person's heart, right? :) I'm really pleased that you found Emily's fears realistic because I don't think there's any way that Naomi's speech in ep8 could have fixed every insecurity in Emily's mind, you know?

Trust me, I'm still trying to break out of it before I even attempt to continue my new multi-chap fic, so please do feel free to pass along any one-shot ideas (never hurts to have too many!) Here :)

It put a smile on my face seeing a new fic by you and it sure didn't disappoint.
This was really beautiful and your style or writing always captures their feelings so well.
I loved how you wrote Emily's insecurities, because they won't go away and it was great to see Naomi being so sure about them now that she knows what can really break her and what can make her happy.
It was lovely where it ended.

Also, really nice including Gina and Jenna. I loved the Emily/Gina moment, because there's no way those two don't love each other and get along just fine and talk to each other. And things with Jenna, I admit it's hard for me to imagine her beeing so nice. I can see her putting the effort, but it's difficult to think where she'd stand at the moment.

Anyway, you really haven't lost your touch. Characterization, dialogue, feelings... you know how to make that all happen in words.
thank you for sharing.

Aww thanks so much :) I'm really glad that you felt I captured their feelings well.

I think Emily was bound to have some insecurities still left lingering in the back of her mind at the end of S4. Sure, they went off to Goa and had a great time but it's a completely different thing to be frown back into the real world, and so those feelings were bound to appear at some stage. And Naomi, well, there's no doubt in my mind that she's 100% committed to Emily now so it was nice to make her the backbone for them this time around.

I wish the show had used Gina more, I think that would have been a really interesting dynamic to see, her with Naomi more and especially her with Emily, that would have been so precious to see :)

I think after what Katie said to Jenna in her ep in S4, that while Jenna is most definitely not on board with Emily/Naomi completely, she is at least willing to try now, especially knowing first hand just how easily her family can fall apart.

Thanks so much for your kind words, dude♥
