[The car belongs to her drone husband and is useless to her because she cannot drive it. However, she still has a couple issues with how a hostile looking automaton is lifting it up in front of her house.]
[Hearing the familiar voice reassures her enough to drop her guard.]
Tony? Is this your true body?
[It seems that he is an automaton like GAT. However, she remembers his comments during their previous conversation.]
I was unaware that automatons could enjoy human foods such as hot chocolate.
[Not to mention hold human standards of beauty, like he had displayed at the store.]
Is it part of your programming? It is interesting that your creator would choose to program you that way.
[Then again, both mages and scientists had a tendency to make their creations as "human" as possible, even programming into them things that were unneeded to imitate real humans.]
[Tony's laugh echoes a little from inside his metal shell.]
No no, babe, it's not the real me. Me is the real me. ...Fleshy, attractive, non-metallic me is the real me. This is actually one of the armored suits I've designed. It's one of my earliest builds, though, so it's more like a walking abacus.
Well, I am not sure how the mechanics of this place work. Seeing as how a car is a staple of American families and my drone husband has one, I suppose you should have one as well. However, perhaps the town only supplies cars to certain families?
Even if you could locate it, I doubt it would be anything too advanced. We are, after all, in a fascimilie of a 1950s era town.

State your intentions, now.

[He carefully sets the car back down, then makes a few button presses in the forearm control panel on his armor.] Looks to be about normal, okay.
Looking stunning, as always. I like your hair, is it a lighter pink today?

This is 100% human ingenuity and genius. My own proprietary technology. Patent pending!

[She had not taken him for a man of science by his behavior during their first encounter.]
So why are you lifting up my drone husband's car instead of your own?

[Seeing how Mayfield liked to put on the facade of a perfect American town.]
Or did you convert it into something else?

Hm. If it's a fast one, could be fun, but more likely I'll strip it for parts...

Hm. Hope she won't miss it.

Drones rarely violently protest at anything. Even if they do complain, I suggest you ignore it.
