Okay, Iron MAN. [ She mimics his inflection, figuring it was important to him. Meiling is surprised when she can see him, and leans closer a bit ] Oh! There you are.
Duel? Oh, God, no. Why would I want to hurt a beauty like you? I haven't even gotten a chance to know you, buy you a coffee, learn your horoscope... a duel would turn us into enemies anyway, I'd assume. Not that I duel much, anyway. Archaic.
[ She laughs and waves a hand. ] Really, you're worried about that? It doesn't hurt all that badly, and I duel with my friends all the time. It's how we stay in practice.
And you don't have to buy me coffee. [ Meiling reaches into the bag and pulls out a can of grounds. ] See? I have plenty!
...R-right... then I'll buy you dinner instead? Wherever you'd like to eat. It's not like I know any restaurants in this place yet anyway, and I'd truly like to get to know you.
[ Meiling smiles at that. ] You mean it? It would be nice to take a break from cooking for a night. I'm not picky, either. [ She offers no suggestions. Instead, she starts to float down and away. ] I'll go tell Patchouli and put these groceries away. Where should I meet you?
[Ha-ha! FINALLY! Some PROGRESS! This damned town has been throwing him MILES off of his usual game... a pleased grin splits Tony's cheeks.]
I dunno, where's good for you? Actually, I'll need to go change, and it'll take me a bit to get back here, so... how about downtown somewhere? Seems like it might be a halfway point for the two of us.
[ She leans backward as she considers that, but then bolts upright in the air as she comes to a conclusion. ] Well, I've never eaten at the Burger Bonanza! ...whatever a "bonanza" even is...
[ "Hankering" is good, right? She mouths the word with a puzzled expression before beaming up at him. ] Okay then! I'll see you in an hour or so? [ Giving him plenty of time to get out of all that metal. ]
I'll be waiting on bells, good lookin'. Or... bootjets, as it were.
[He does a kind of bow in the air, but starts falling backwards so awkwardly stops doing so. Then his helmet pops back on and he starts to fly in the direction of Cunningham Lane.]
And by China I mean Meiling.
And by "invade", I mean nearly blasting her as she zips by, causing her to nearly drop the bag of groceries she has in hand. ]
Aaah! Marisa! Watch where you're-

[His helmet pops open, revealing his face.]

Oh! That reminds me. Did you want to duel? Because if you do then I really need to put these away first. [ Hugging the bag of groceries. ]

[ And with that she closes the top of the bag and dives down to the house to take care of things. ]
[ ooc: Did you want to do this as a log, or a continued action spam thread (my personal preference, but I'm flexible, really)? ]
