that sounds awesome! i like that place. i thought it was going to be more lounge-like as well, but it was filled with the same kids that go to the backalley and rockin taco. the smell reminded me of a bowling alley. and oh man, had an adios there, and it knocked me out!
i went to a bar/club tonight alone, but to meet up with someone. i was there for a while. just loungin around, people watching, taking pics, the usual. then they arrived and turned out to be a rather fun night.
Hmmm, a bowling alley? Yes, that could very well be what it smelled like... I've been to the Rockin' Taco once and there was a hilarious cover band, but I've never graced The Backalley.
The Moseleys played last night and the place was PACKED. It turned out to be an awful night for me because as I rammed my way towards the front door to get some air, I dropped my purse without realizing it. Bunny even made an announcement to return it. Alas, after everyone turned the club upside down at 2am, it was nowhere to be found. We called my cell phone and someone picked up and promptly hung up. It was never returned.
I'm so fucking bummed out about it. The contents were: my car and house keys, my favorite lipstick, new sunglasses, $90, driver's license, a spritzer, my awesome cell phone and a couple of condoms (don't ask).
and way to go, corky. girls should never be afraid to go places alone, because guys notice you're not with anyone, they'll totally come up and talk to you. in fact, guys are more inclined to talk to a girl by herself than a girl standing with a friend (or group of friends).
