Thoughts From Mathfest: Day 2

The Ambien I took must have worked or I sufficiently achieved collapse through exhaustion, as I woke up pretty refreshed with almost 8 hours of sleep.  Popped a caffiene pill, had a really good "room coffee", put on my new suit (went with the black suit, black tie, purple shirt), and headed down for some talks.

One I consider a friend already, and I don't know if the other two have good taste or not. Thus I don't know how I did.

But how do you know whether they have good taste unless you're friends with them? I suppose the exception is if they're famous, but those are pretty high standards (perhaps unrealistically so).

I'm intrigued by the idea of prime number chemistry, if it is what I think it is. I wonder if Wikipedia has a page on it...

It was mostly about which numbers remain prime in which rings and some conjectures about limiting behavior. I'll send you an e-mail about it.
