This one made me giggle. I liked it because it was just so IC! The bickering and snottyness (is that even a word?) was spot-on. I love the "we don't all the way know what we're doing, but we need to solider on" feeling because it's so them.

XDD That is EXACTLY the feeling I was going for here! I figured that after the whole 'let's get drunk and have a pity party' thing, they'd flounder around for a while before managing to get themselves together. (That's the next piece I'm going to write in this series, btw. One where they kick total ass and realize that they did it without a hitch in their stride. TEAM TORCHWOOD FTW.) And what's an awkward-baby's-first-steps fic without tentacles? :DDD
