if youre not coming to hang out with any of your friends then maybe you shouldnt come at all, think about the money your wasting on the flight, im sure there are poor, starving babies in africa that would kill to have that money and you would just squander it away just to say you went to houston....dont be wasteful unless you actually plan on doing something other than acting like an angsty teenager.
