there is nothing more cathartic than a good cry.

Take great solace in the fact that your grandfather was the type of man to elicit a good cry and that you are insightful enough to grant his memory one. Would that we not just coast in the "pleasant middle" and feel never the two extremes. My grandfather, with whom i was the most close of all my relatives, used to say give me all the reds and whites and not just shades of pink.
