I just got my birthday present! A month and a half late, but still...

I now own a shiny new keyboard with an interface for the computer and a GOOD version of Finale! Accent: be prepared for my no-longer-so-shitty arranging skills! (I did learn four-part choral writing at CMU, anyway...that should help.)

This is random but have you ever heard of a band called Sleator-Kinney? You would like them. I just got one of their CDs.

I have one of their songs on a comp. It's pretty good.

Somehow I can't see you listening to Sleater-Kinney? But then, you like Elliott Smith, and I can't see that at all.

Oh man, I'd really like to have finale with clef changer.
I have a couple of computer print outs of clef changer i keep with me, and I just kind of....fantasize about them when I'm alone.

All you have to do to change clefs is copy and paste a measure written in one clef to a staff in another clef.
