I grew up not far from Three Rivers...sweet little town. Keep Out, Wal*Mart bastards!

i'm from kalamazoo originally so i'm familiar with three rivers. they already have a meijer there, which is a superstore. BUT meijer is michigan-owned and i don't hear complaints about their business practices the way people complain of walmart.

chicago successfully kept out all wal-marts until this year, mainly because wal-mart is anti-union. however, now they are going to build some.

All I know about Three Rivers is that there is an Episcopal Benedictine monastery there, the Abbey of St. Gregory. I wonder what they think about Wal-Mart moving in.

I really want to visit them.
