The first one in B looks really nice, but the second one is a bit yellow blobby. I think if option A will be the more practical by working with more images (not just closeups) then you should go with that one. C is gorgeous, by the way. Snaps for you. :)
the one with dom is done! I'm gonna work on the flair thing some more I think, and see if I can put it on a separate layer so I can tone it down. I also put a few more icons in the cable folder on the server this morning so he's got enough to get started (and tell rhy I put up a bunch for monica too, I forgot to ask her if she had a chance to make her a journal).
well he has a little hair in some of the images, but in this case we weighed baldness against the fact that it's hard to find someone muscular enough to work for cable, as well as the multitude of images with guns, and the fact that we're already using Asia Argento as Domino.
I prefer the larger eye flare as it reminds me a lot of how the eye flare is often drawn with a lot of radiating lines out from it which to me indicate that it's not a small little light blob. I also love the last icon!
One thing that might be another solution is to go into the render section, put on a lens flare then overlay it with a warming filter and then mask anything you don't want flared.
It does. I was using the supernova light filter in gimp, since I was at work. Remind me on Sunday to put photoshop on this computer, and take off gimp, so I can do everything in the same program.
I liked the bigger flare too, I just need to put it on its own layer so it can be toned down or masked (I didn't because you can't see the background image in the preview window, and even with the small one it changes the lighting of the whole image slightly, so when you move the layer you get a line at the edge, and I was being lazy about it.)

I know! I will just make all icons with one or both eyes closed or in profile and always flip the image so it's the other side of his face!!!

The third one is awesome. Is that done? I'll save it and upload it if it is.

Does that make any sense whatsoever?
