We celebrate birthdays once every other month for the ppl who have surrounding birthdays.  Usually resisting the cake is hard because my favorite cake in the world is Red Velvet.  Imagine my excitement when my boss said Yellow cake with chocolate icing.  My absolute least favorite...

I think my company just loves cake. We're supposed to have cake every month for birthdays (hasn't happened in a while thankfully), it seems like there's a baby shower every Friday and they have cake, and then there was a bridal shower and there was cake...

And I love cake. More importantly, I love frosting. Doesn't matter what kind, I want it. All of it. Frosting is the devil, I'm convinced. It's a daily battle not to go to Harris Teeter every day and shove my face into vats of gooey icing.

Yep, being on a diet makes me realize that ignorance is bliss...

lol see, Im a cake girl, I only like icing if it's cream cheese icing... and the cake needs to be moist but not heavy. Fortunately picky... that's me. But when you have to limit your sugar as much as I do as a diabetic... then it pays to be picky... if its going to be sweet it had better be something that gives me chills its so good.
