There was no way to get revenge for your hurt one on one?

In a word? No.

I told Crichton that if he apologized - publically - I'd let it go.

He mocked me, made up more lies about me and my minion another student, and basically acted as if it were nothing.

I could've gotten a clean test from the clinic to refute his lie, and publically published the results. But that wasn't the point.

The point is, this is not an environment for weakness. Our fellow students are disappearing right, left, and center. I am not about to be added onto the list of "desaparecidos". His actions made me a potential target.

Cruel? Yes. But necessary for self-preservation.

Your concern is commendable. But everyone involved knew the score. Including the girlfriends in question.
