Susan walked out of the girls' dormitories and into the common room quietly. She saw everyone in there which made her little nervous. She walked around in the common room a little bit and then sat in front of the fireplace but not to close. She didn't want to get burned. She pulled her long brown hair back into a ponytail.
She knew she had to come out of her shell. It was just a little difficult. She hadn't talked to Hannah, Ernie, and Justin in quite a while. She turned around and couldn't really see them in the crowd common room so she just stayed sitting down.
She felt so alone and she didn't like that feeling.
