Who: Ernie and Megan
Where: Hufflepuff Common room and then...
When: Valentine's Day, morning-ish.
What: Ernie's surprise!!
Why: Because they're cute and we want to.
Ernie was quite sure that everything was ready as he approached the stairs out of the dormitory. Megan was probably waiting for him in the Common Room; she had already promised him violent affection, and he was looking forward to that, oddly enough. After receiving her note though, he was now extraordinarily nervous about his Valentine's surprise measuring up. He thought it would but, well, you never really knew sometimes.
He took a bite of the cookie and a deep breath (though not both at once) and proceeded downstairs. As he entered the Common Room, Ernie immediately made sure that he wasn't standing near anything sharp or fragile, because he didn't know which way the Megan attack would commence from. Honestly, he didn't really care, as long as it came.
