WHO: Padma and anyone
WHEN: day after NEWTs ended.
WHERE: Muuusic room.
WHY: Padma's getting worried about Juilliard. EXTRA TRAINING.
After a full night of sleep, Padma couldn't take it anymore. She was going to Juilliard, and she felt that if she didn't practice even more than usual, she might die in New York. Padma knew that she had trouble getting into the school in the first place; what was going to happen when she actually attended the school? Well, in Padma's own opinion, she thought she might drop down and die. But Padma often had weird logic.
The Ravenclaw carried all 32 piano books she owned into the music room, almost falling over at all the music. The stack of music actually went well beyond her head, making it impossible for her to see anything. Luckily, Padma had thought ahead and charmed the music to not fall over. Unluckily, she had forgotten to reduce the size as she walked down the hallways. Stumbling into the music room of Hogwarts, she dropped all her music by the piano and sat down on the bench, adjusting it to just her length.
Pushing her dark hair out of her eyes, Padma reached for the book on top of her stack. It read, "Beethoven Sonatas." She cautiously turned the pages to the ancient book, stopping at a page. "
Piano Sonata No. 8, Op. 13". Underneath, it had in italics, "Pathétique."
It was a strange thing that Padma could play this piece. Most teachers would tell a student that they should give up on the piece, right then and there. But when Padma took up the challenge, she wouldn't give up. And now, surprisingly, the piece sounded amazing. At least, amazing in anyone else's ears. Padma thought it sounded pretty horrible.
