Holding her wand in her hand, Parvati looked down at it and ran over spells repeatedly in her head. Tonight was the night. Tonight she was going to get revenge for her sister's murder.

She looked up as Ron and Hermione apparated near her. "Hermione. Ron," she said in turn, twirling her wand a couple of times before stowing it in her pocket. "I knew you guys would come."

"It's good to see you, Parvati," Hermione said, smiling warmly. "We don't have much time, so let's get into position. Harry should send the signal soon."

Parvati nodded and pulled her wand again, eager to get it all over with. "Just tell me where you want me."

"We're spaced out in pairs, I believe," she replied, taking a look around at those in position. "I think it would be good to pair with Dean or someone that can help you balance and watch your back. Get going. We don't have much time."

The night was eerily quiet. Order members were arriving at regular intervals now but nobody spoke, and if they did it was in whispers. There was a very solemn air to proceedings. As, Draco thought, considering their chances, was appropriate.

The deposed prince of Slytherin looked over when he heard another crack of Apparition magic and saw the mudblood and the Weasel arriving. Together. How touching. Still, he supposed any extra wand arm was useful. And it was true he'd not really talked to them once since his turning. Perhaps he ought to apologise for some of the things he'd done in the past? Before it was too late?

No, that was ridiculous.

Ron gave a polite, but stiff nod in Draco's direction. No matter how many times Harry assured him Draco was now on their side, he still expected the Slytherin to turn on them, joining with the Death Eaters.

Draco noted the nod, and the curtness of it, and gave a similar one in return.

"Weasley. Good luck tonight."

"You too," Ron replied. "And don't forget which side you're on, Malfoy..."
