The summer is progressing if not through a mild air of anxiety. This stems from many roots, including but not limited to:

-My father starting treatment

-My working on multiple projects

-Living in New York City

-Behind a human being?

I thought you could mask it with work, or the semblance of work, but it seems to be that the beginning of the week is always fraught with loneliness and frustration.

It would have laughed along side us yesterday, when after 2 and 3/4 hours of watching Titanic with the Drama Club I came home to Marc with a cooler filled with ice so we could salvage what was left in our broken fridge.

It would be funnier if it wasn't the third major appliance to go down since we moved in.

Today is the first day of summer, and it is a reminder that we are two weeks away from the dog days of summer, and yet in a heat wave already.

It feels so right to be in a space like this

dark, hollowed, surrounded by books

and then an evening out?

I hope so. 

We made it to and from Montréal for a wonderful vacation and now I am in Atlanta for GCandE

It's been a long few weeks.

After settling in it seems Marc and I are figuring out how we are ourselves, but also together when we are within and without.

Its ok, it just stressful and feels like work.

In some ways I know the goal is to pull back, hold on less, and ride, but it hits so close to the heart.
