Arrgghh.

I am trying to do my OU work but am being thwarted by the fact I can't unzip the files. I have no idea what's up with my info-zip I think it might just be borked. I don't have win-zip either (that would just be too easy).

Can anyone recommend a free open source thingy that would work? The internet suggested jZip but I've never heard of ( Read more... )

Save file ,right click, open with... winzip, drag and drop files to a folder from there. Jobs a good one. compression sucks susing winzip tho.

I use winrar. It unzips most archive types. It does bug you to buy the registered version, but that's ignorable.

What be you studying?

XP does do it natively, unless the OU has encouraged you to download an old, broken decompression utility which windows now uses as its prefered handler for .zip files. Problem is solved.
