I think a lot of us re-read this time of year anyway, but I confess to not being entirely clear what a "readathon" consists of. Beyond reading the book, what does one do?

Hi ashkitty,

Good question!

We're reading the series from beginning to end together starting December 1st (today!) and enjoying the community discussions via social media.

One of the reasons we start earlier in December is so people can read OSUS and then read The Dark is Rising during Christmas in which the book is set. Now, of course, this is not mandatory but many people like to read it this way. I will be posting a full reading schedule as worked out by another reader but essentially, you can read at your own pace and enjoy the discussion that will inevitably ensue on Facebook, etc.

We'd love to have you join us!
