Please don't take this the wrong way...

But exploring the city, looking for girls and trying to meet people with a gay guy tagging along behind you; sounds like a new sitcom.

Maybe it's the diverse points of view coupled with the uncertainty of what's around the corner. I don't know, but it sounds like "hilarity about to ensue." :)

None taken, in fact I agree. In truth, I'm a bit uncertain, and considering backing out. But I really need to get out, and people aren't as friendly here as back home.

I mean, I've had gay friends before and thought nothing of it. But never has he been my -only- friend, at least outside of my job. I'm a little wierded out, but the idea is that the -only- part will change just as soon as I get started. Besides, his friends are mostly strait, and some of them don't even suspect him, so he says. It's this promise of a whole group. And cute chicks.

Besides, he's not gay. He has a wife and kids.
