CANCELLED: Volunteers on 17 July
After the unannounced appearance at the theatre a few weeks back, I was approached and asked to see if I could appear in a fund raising event on 17 July. I had smashed too many buildings during a rampage ,and they are conducting fund rising to build a new school building for the Eden School, a school for children with autism.
The night's event is a A Special Walk 2010, and this year's theme is Hollywood Experience. They are hoping to have some cosplay and mascot costumes jazz up the event further . I'm hopeful my suit will be back from Anthrocon to make it to the event (two and a half weeks ought to be more than enough shipping time), and I'm quite excited about it.
Still, I would also like to call out to the local furry community to see if anybody else wishes to participate in the event as well, either as performers or as the very important role of spotters, camera furs and assistants, please let me know! :)
EDIT: Unfortunately, due for logistical reasons, they have to cancel our participation in this particular event as they have to stick closely to their Hollywood theme. They may have other events in mind for us, but for now this even is canceled.
