my adjuster called a few hours ago and gave me the bad news. the drive axle was completely shredded, he said he's never seen one so damaged, it'd be almost $20K to fix everything. financially it isn't as big a blow as I thought it was going to be tho, they valued it at almost $17K, which is about $4000 more than we thought. I'll get about $3300

I am so so sorry to hear that. I know what you're going through but it will pass. I think you have the right idea to get a piece of shit car especially the way the economy is so fucked up right now. Put some extra $$ back in a car fund and in a few years buy a new vehicle. Again HUGS my friend
