this sucks...
one of my kids is in the hospital. he's not technically mine anymore, I had him in 10th & 11th and now he's a senior, but he's still one that I am closer to. he felt sick Monday before last and took some Benedryl and laid down to take a nap, when he woke up his speech was slurred and he was vomiting. I guess this got worse as the week wore on and they took him to the hospital Friday. they've run all kinds of tests and ruled out stroke, meningitis and herpes, he has to wait for 10 or 11 more days for more tests to come back but at this point they don't know what is wrong with him. this just sucks, he's only 17 and he's one of those funny smart-ass kids who is always cutting up and stuff, it was really difficult to see him in there, his speech is getting better, I could barely understand him on the phone Wednesday but last night it was easier, I just hope he's better and out of there soon.
