A while ago, for a period, I was really addicted to ebay. It was a pretty bad problem, I ended up buying some pretty random stuff (a Waitresses seven inch, to name one). It got to the point where I had to tell myself that, no, I really don't need this Wang Chung single. That phase ended a while ago.

That poster rocks. Jet Li is great. I just saw Once Upon a Time in China, it was REALLY good. If you haven't seen it, do so. And I just rented Fist of Legend (which Paul tells me is Jet Li's greatest), but haven't watched it yet.

And multi-mastery barbs are great, because barbs are great no matter what! (only if they have points in leap)

AND Max Payne 2 looks great, but my computer is too crappy to run it. I can't even run Vice City without choppiness. CURSE IT.

I'm trying to BRAINWASH YOU!! (ignore that that makes no sense...) Actually, "Happening" is melt banana while "again" is The Cure. Or at least I think it is. My internet connection is messed up so I have the inability to check.

I have that same exact problem!! I bid on stuff that I would never really want, just because it's either a)rare or b) cheap. MADNESS!!! INSANITY!!! And then if I get outbid I get all pissed off and get in a bidding war over something I don't need just because it's the principle of the thing. Umm, yeah, okay. . .bye!

Whenever I see words like "test press" or "rare" I immediately am interested. This has led to me getting some neat stuff (a Joy Division test press and...well, I guess that's it), but for the most part, when the bidding is over, I realize that I really didn't need to buy whatever I just bought.

And yes, bidding wars get me SO angry. Specifically, when there are 30 seconds left in an auction and then someone decides to bid really highly. One time, I had been winning this Grandmaster Flash record for something like two days, and then at the VERY END, with a minute to go, someone outbid me. ARGH.

I too have continued to bid on someone just because it was the pricipal of the thing. This leads to me having very little money, usually.

Yeah I lost a poster last week because some asshole outbid me with twenty seconds to go. That's such a nasty thing to do. They should establish some ebay etiquette or something.
