House gets back to his apartment at 1 P.M. on a Wednesday, the sun bright and shining, and it's more than just a little surreal, like stepping back through the looking glass. He pays the taxi and drags his suitcase through the doorway, annoyed that the doors that don't open automatically once he steps near them
