Good heavens, I am so much in love with this fic! THANK YOU so much, I honestly didn't expect anything, and then this wonderful piece of work appears. I feel so lucky, thank you!

You captured the organic movement & noise of both dorms so well, almost as if they're living, breathing things - it felt like being there! One of the things I remember about watching the movie for the 1st time (even before the notion of shipping M/E ever occurred) is how comfortable Eduardo is in the Kirkland suite. Like he's got hinted-at parental hangups and later the toxic relationship w/ Christy, but when he's in the suite, he's totally normal and happy. I absolutely loved those scenes and I love this fic because it has the same subtle affection between them, and shows the yin/yang of how their relationship works.

It's obvious when you look at him, at his posture and the way he lookt at Mark, but it's all very understated and unspoken. I wonder if the Kirkland scenes are so pleasant because nothing bad has happened yet? And I just have to say how much I love the line that Billy tends to wander over stoned. Like he got, what? Four seconds of screen time in the movie? Yet he's a total stoner, you can tell. XD

The contrast of their rooms is great - the miasma and assorted people using Mark's bed as a chair or desk or couch, and how even the air of Eduardo's room is cool and clean. And your ending is perfection. :)

And if they had never left the suite nothing bad would have happened! No girlsfriends and subsequent dumping, no Facemash, no Winklevosses, no Sean Parker, no California, just lots of bed-sharing (still a frustrating lack of verbal communication, of course, but that's less important as long as there are sufficient non-verbal cues). Kirkland pre-Facebook is Eden before the apple. ...Why no, I don't idealize that time at all.

Again, thank you so much, you have no idea how happy it makes me you like it and are catching all of the details, atmospheric and not, I've tried to put into this.

Eeeeeeeeeeee! I love this! It's got such a sleepy and rumpled-soft feel to it, and I love Mark trying to sleep Eduardo's single and the way he just. can't. All the little things that keep him awake and uncomfortable, the air, the absence of noise, the emptiness of it all. I love that he gets why Eduardo's always over, I love that the reasons for that are not the ones he initially thought they were.
Oh, and the goose bumps he gets from sheer proximity, of couse. I love that something fierce, I do, I do. And youuuu, I love youuu T_T
